Review and approval

We review every paid application before issuing an SPSN and publishing its public page.

What we check

We check that the application is complete, makes sense and is suitable for the SPSN service. We may also check for duplicate applications, misleading information, prohibited content or signs of fraud.

If we have a question

We will send a message through your application and notify you by email. You can reply from your account.

While the application is under review, we may allow you to correct its details. We may also ask for private evidence, which will not appear on the public page.

What approval means

Approval assigns an SPSN and publishes the approved publication details. It does not prove copyright, confirm every claim, certify quality or mean that we endorse the work.

After approval

The public page is locked. If the title, publisher, language, format or edition later changes in an important way, you may need to withdraw the existing SPSN and apply for a new one.
